The problem

Existing 3D measurement systems are built for controlled environments

One fixed station, one function, and a five-figure price per unit. Static dimensioners measure one spot well and stop there. Structured-light inspection cameras are built for static scenes under controlled light. Both are priced per station, at roughly ten times what an OAK costs.

Knowing the size of what you're moving shouldn't come down to having to justify the cost of camera hardware.

How it works

Measure your box dimensions and volume

Calibrate the ground plane once. From then on, every box that enters the frame is detected, measured, and logged into viewable results.

Calibrate the plane, then forget it

Guided ground-plane calibration sets the reference surface: belt, table, or floor. Height is then measured against real-world values, not a guess.

Fast enough for the belt

The pipeline keeps up with moving boxes and can emit exactly one measurement per unique box, with no duplicate reads to reconcile downstream.

Top-down or angled

Mount straight overhead for the tightest numbers, or at an angle when the ceiling, gantry, or workstation won't allow it. Both views are supported.

Measurement is only as good as the depth underneath it

OAK 4 isn't locked into one depth method. Stereo matching, neural-assisted stereo, and time-of-flight sensing each cover the conditions the others can't, so the fitted box is built on depth suited to your station.
