Delicode helps cities optimize safety, curb usage, and urban planning by delivering real-time mobility analytics at the edge. Signals Flow tracks pedestrians, vehicles, and curbside activity while keeping all processing on-device to meet strict privacy requirements.

City deployments face hard constraints that typical camera systems can’t meet:

Signals Flow runs real-time urban analytics at the edge—counting foot and vehicle traffic, tracking turning movements, monitoring curbside/loading-zone occupancy, and supporting long-term street and bike-lane planning. Delicode typically deploys OAK‑1 W PoE for wide-angle scene coverage and OAK‑D CM4 PoE when stereo depth is needed; both use on-device AI inference so only insights are streamed, not video.

Luxonis provided a rugged, privacy-first hardware stack necessary for city-scale deployment. As Delicode put it: “We knew we’d be putting these devices outside where they would get exposed to the realities of the Finnish climate… Fortunately for us, the OAK has proven to be worthy of its name — as sturdy as a tree.”
Rugged, compact hardware: Prebuilt IP65 enclosures, PoE power/data, and small form factor made Luxonis devices field-ready out of the box—even in subzero Nordic winters.
On-device AI inference: Edge compute eliminated the need for cloud or on-site servers, reducing both latency and infrastructure cost while improving privacy.
Flexible product ecosystem: The ability to swap between wide-angle RGB and stereo depth cameras allowed Delicode to tailor each deployment based on scene complexity—without rewriting their entire software pipeline.
Cost-effective scalability: Affordable per-unit pricing made it financially feasible for Delicode to deploy across multiple cities, intersections, and use cases.

Signals Flow now runs across Nordic cities, delivering actionable insights without compromising privacy, reliability, or cost.
